Michael Buckley is Chairman of KKR Alternative Investment Management and of KKR Credit Advisers (Ireland). He is also an Independent Non-Executive Director of Blacksheep Fund Management . He serves as Senior Adviser to a number of Irish-owned companies in sectors such as software and professional services. Michael has extensive business experience in Ireland and abroad. He was Senior Independent Director and subsequently Chairman of DCC Group from 2005 to 2014. . He was a non-executive director of UK Asset Resolution from 2010 to 2017 and has served as an independent non-executive director of stock exchange listed companies in the USA, UK, Singapore and Poland.
From 2001 to 2005, Michael was Group Chief Executive of AIB Group and from 1986 to 1991 was Managing Director of NCB Group. Prior to that he was a senior civil servant in Ireland and the EU. In the public service arena he was a founding member of the Taoiseach’s Clearing House Committee, which played a central role in developing the IFSC, served on the Board of the Custom House Docks Authority, was Chairman of the Review Group on Higher Remuneration in the Public Sector, Chairman of the Enterprise Advisory Group at the Department of Enterprise and Employment, and served on the Board of Enterprise Ireland. Michael was Chairman of the Irish Chamber Orchestra from 2008 to 2017 and continues to be actively involved in its groundbreaking community engagement programme. He was Adjunct Professor at UCC’s School of Economics from 2008 to 2017, where he also chaired the Advisory Board and contributed to the MBA and DBA programmes. He has a First Class Honours MA from the National University of Ireland and received an honorary doctorate from the University of Limerick in 2017. His professional qualifications include CCMI, MSI and FIB. Michael has been involved in the 30 Per Cent Club since 2012, initially in the UK and since it’s inception in Ireland. Family, the sea, cycling, painting, music and Munster rugby compete for the rest of his time.
Linda Hickey has had a 30-year career in Stockbroking and Investment Banking. Linda spent the last 14 years as Head of Corporate Broking at Goodbody advising corporate clients on shareholder engagement, capital market fundraising and corporate governance. Prior to that she worked for Merrill Lynch, New York and NCB Stockbrokers, (now Investec) in Dublin. She is currently a Non-Executive Director of Kingspan plc, the global leader in high-performance insulation; Cairn Homes plc; Chair of the Irish Blood Transfusion Service; and is a senior advisor at Powerscourt Group, a leading strategic communications consultancy.
Alice was educated at Heathfield School, Ascot United Kingdom. She later graduated from Parson’s School of Art and Design in New York. Alice has gone on to establish a celebrated reputation as a photographer and has had exhibitions in New York, London and Dublin.
Alice has been a Director of Curraghmore Group since 2000 . It oversees the management of Curraghmore Estate in Co Waterford and previously Glenbride Estate Co Wicklow.
Drawing on Alice’s commitment and lifestyle of sustainability, conservation and environmental matters, she has joined Quanta Capital to oversee and implement their Sustainability Charter.
Quanta Capital, along with its Consultancy Partner, KRA, is preparing a detailed sustainability policy which takes into account the impact of its business on the environment. Quanta places environmental conservation and sustainability to the forefront of its strategic thinking and is committed to a zero carbon policy within our entities. By way of example, Alice will oversee the planned re-planting of 300 acres of forestry at the Kippure Estate in Co. Wicklow, to drive our carbon footprint reduction.
Joe Christle, has had an extensive career in both legal and business affairs for over 30 years. Joe is a graduate of Theoretical Physics from Trinity College Dublin. Following his education, Joe commenced his career in accountancy with one of Ireland’s renowned chartered accountancy firms Oliver Freaney Chartered Accountants (now Smith Williamson). During this time, he was also a Journalist with the Irish Press, where, he held a column for 10 years. In addition, Joe, has pursued a career as a Barrister at Law/Lawyer. He is now a successful legal advisor, deploying his diverse expertise across many areas of law.
Joe has lectured in the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland, the educational and regulatory body of the solicitors’ profession in Ireland. More recently, he lectures on the Sports Masters programme in University College Dublin in the areas of Governance and Company law.
Until recently, Joe acted as the Chairman of the IABA.
Joe is a former two- time Irish Heavyweight boxing champion and former professional athlete.

Mel is a graduate in commerce as well as a founder of businesses ranging from real estate, retail and manufacturing to corporate lending. Over the past two decades Mel has pioneered the acquisition and development of significant diverse real estate assets throughout Ireland and the U.K.. Recently, Mel has been instrumental in assembling and acquiring a significant strategic landholding in Dublin City. Mel in conjunction with the City Council is preparing a master plan for this site with a view to developing a new City Urban Quarter. In addition, Mel has championed the acquisition of large scale industrial, logistics and office facilities across Ireland and the UK. Mel is responsible for expanding Quanta’s footprint in property markets across Europe, which is Quanta’s Project 2022 Growth Mandate.
Deirdre has over 20 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, she trained with Pricewaterhousecoopers and then joined BNY Mellon, during this time she has worked with top tier clients such as Goldman Sachs, JPM, Invesco and Blackrock. She is acknowledged for her leadership and interpersonal skills, having worked in strategic financial roles for most of her career. Her core business competencies include financial analysis, project management, risk analysis and complex financial modelling. A member of the Executive leadership team, she is responsible for the overall management of the finance function, working alongside a team of dedicated, finance professionals to support the growth of the business. Deirdre holds a Bachelor of Civil Law from UCD and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
Erin holds a First Class Honours Degree in Property Economics and a Masters in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Reading. She also holds a Certificate in Fixed Income and Derivative Securities from the International Capital Markets Association. Erin is a former winner of DIT’s Richard Morrison Prize for Excellence in Valuation, and the Society of Chartered Surveyors’ David Bailey Memorial Award for achieving the best results in the Property Economics Degree Course. Erin lectures on a variety of valuation based modules at Dublin Institute of Technology. Erin worked as a Development Manager for Treasury Holdings, with responsibility for valuation appraisals, budgets and project management. During her surveying/agency career Erin worked with Savills, where she became Head of Retail Warehousing with responsibility for the company’s entire retail parks portfolio. Erin is the person responsible for property selection, procurement, negotiation, finance and asset management.
Eoghan holds a Masters in Real Estate. With ten years’ experience with the Department of Environment and the Department of Foreign Affairs, Eoghan was responsible for the management and development of the €1bn Housing Investment Programme which involved the construction and acquisition of over 7,000 dwellings annually. In 2012 Eoghan was seconded to the Department of Foreign Affairs Diplomatic Mission in Brussels for Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the EU. In this role, Eoghan was responsible for the coordination of a highly ambitious EU legislative programme. In addition he was Ireland’s representative at High Level EU and International Working Group Meetings ranging from the Environmental Impact Assessment Directive, EU Emissions Trading and the EU Crisis Coordination Committee etc. Eoghan is responsible for all legals and acquisition transactions for Quanta.
Louise is a Certified Public Accountant, Tax Adviser, holds an BSc in Financial Management and is a member of ATI. Louise has gained a wealth of experience over the past 15 years within various accounting roles. During this time Louise has contributed to the overall success of the organisations she has worked with by effectively managing all financial, statutory and regulatory reporting obligations together with overseeing budgets and all other accounting duties. Louise is responsible for financial services such as accounting, reporting, budgeting and insurance management, in accordance with legislative requirements and the organisation’s policies and strategies.
Colette joined Quanta in 2017 following a successful 27-year career with Hay Group (now Korn Ferry PLC), a global management consulting firm. During her career with Hay Group Colette worked as Finance Manager. In addition to her finance role Colette has vast experience in the design and development of organisational change, performance management. Colette has worked closely with a number of large private organisations, PLCs and public sector clients at an international level. Colette has also been involved in the project management of a large, complex leadership assessment and development programme and other key public-sector reward assignments. Colette is responsible for all operational functions of the company with a commitment to excellence in all areas of expertise.
Linda joined the group in 2018 with extensive accounts experience of 15 years. Having started her accountancy career in the Motor Trade, she then moved on to the booming Construction Sector. Starting off as an Accounts Assistant, Linda soon became head of the Finance team. During this time Linda ensured the company’s services were delivered on time and on budget whilst meeting with the clients’ standards. Linda is responsible for the overall timely collection of rents over a vast property portfolio.
