Jonathan has had a long career in finance and property.

Jonathan graduated in Philosophy from Sussex University. Following a year spent travelling around Europe he worked for the Inland Revenue, qualifying as an Inspector of Taxes, then joined KPMG as an advisor. He worked in the industry in corporate finance for 3 years before joining Bankers Trust. After 22 years in banking in a variety of increasingly senior roles in Europe and Asia he set up a hedge fund with two partners. The business, Solent Capital Partners, specialised in debt and derivative trading. Jonathan left the business in 2010 and after a period running a boutique advisory and private placement boutique, in 2014 established Yew Tree (renamed Yew Grove) an Irish property business focused on commercial real estate outside the centre of Dublin. With Jonathan at the helm, Yew Grove REIT was floated in 2018 and subsequently sold to a Canadian private equity firm (Slate REIT) in 2022.

Jonathan is in charge of Quanta’s Irish and UK acquisitions strategy.
