Mel is the founder of Quanta Capital and the Quantum Supremacy Fund.
Having graduated in commerce, Mel went on to found a number of successful businesses ranging from real estate, to technology and corporate finance.
Over the last decade, Mel has specialised in large scale funding and Investment; raising finance for MBOs, Commercial Real Estate and Private Equity. Mel has been instrumental in arranging some of the larger loan book transactions across Ireland and Europe. He has assembled a €1bn commercial real estate and mixed asset portfolio.
Mel established Quanta Capital’s Quantum Supremacy Fund. Quanta Capital is aligning itself with top Universities in Dublin and Cambridge, with a view towards investing in and funding development and research in the areas of Quantum algorithms; with a focus on banking and financial applications.
